Your whole financial life, finally in one place.
Helm shows what you own, owe, earn, and spend, including the bitcoin, real estate, and RSUs other apps leave out. Plan retirement with tax-aware projections, get Recommended Moves built from your own numbers, and bring your advisor in when you want a second opinion.
- Add accounts by hand or import a CSV
- Bitcoin, real estate, RSUs and private equity
- 1,000 Monte Carlo trials per run by default
- Bring your advisor in, or never
Built by the team at Hot Pixel Group in Phoenix, Arizona.
Built for the way money actually works.
Modern households hold more than a checking account and a 401(k). Helm is built for the rest of it too.
See everything in one place
Checking, brokerage, 401(k), home equity, bitcoin, RSUs, even the spreadsheet you've kept for years. Add accounts by hand or import a CSV, and see the whole picture on one dashboard.
Plan with confidence
Retirement projections that run 1,000 market simulations by default, with tax-aware withdrawals and a stress test for a bad run of returns early in retirement. No spreadsheet required.
Recommended Moves
Concrete next steps built from your own numbers, such as an emergency fund sized from what you actually spend, ranked by their estimated impact.
Ask Helm
Ask about your balances, bills, budgets, recent transactions, or saved plans and get an answer built from your records, with its sources. The optional AI conversation asks for your consent before anything goes to its AI provider.
One household, shared
Invite a partner to the same accounts, goals, and plan. Invite your advisor when you want a second pair of eyes, and disconnect them whenever you like.
Tax return pre-fill
Upload last year's return and Helm reads the figures to pre-fill your tax planning. You review every figure before it is used.
- Connect your own AI assistant, read-only and revocable
- Compare up to 4 scenarios side by side
- Present mode for walking through your plan
- Vault for documents
- Bills and cash-flow forecasts
- Add Helm to your phone's home screen
The whole picture. Beautifully.
Every account, every goal, every plan: designed to be looked at, not just used. The screens below show a sample household, not real customer data.

Built for what other apps won't touch.
Serious security. No fine print.
Your money deserves more than a privacy policy. Helm protects sensitive fields with bank-grade encryption, keeps your household separate from every other, and never sells your data.
Bank-grade encryption
Sensitive fields such as bank-link credentials, the last four digits of your SSN, your phone, address, and notes are protected with bank-grade encryption (AES-256) before they are stored. Helm's servers hold the key so the app can show them to you, so this protects against a leaked database rather than hiding data from Helm itself.
Encrypted on the way
Every connection between your browser and Helm is encrypted, and your browser is told to refuse an unencrypted one.
Your data is yours
We never sell your data and don't use it to train AI models. Helm does use Anthropic as its AI provider: AI conversation and tax-return reading each ask for your consent first, and transaction descriptions Helm's rules can't categorize may be sent with personal identifiers removed.
See what changed, and who changed it
Every change to your household, by you or by anyone you've given access, appears in your activity log with who and when, along with data exports. If something surprises you, disconnect them from the Household page.
Take your data with you
Download your household as one file from Settings, in a format other software can read: accounts and balance history, transactions, holdings, goals, plans, budgets, and more. Document files download separately from the Vault, and connection credentials are left out.
Walled off twice
Your household's data is kept apart from everyone else's in the application, and the database enforces the same wall on its own: it returns nothing if the application ever forgets to ask for the right household.

Straight answers.
Is Helm really free?
Yes, while Helm is in beta, with no credit card to enter. We'll tell you before that changes, and you will never be charged without agreeing first.
Can anyone sign up?
Yes. Create an account with your email, Apple, or Google. Helm is in beta, so features can change and you should keep your own records.
Does Helm connect to my bank?
Helm has bank linking built on Plaid, but it may not be switched on during the beta. If Helm says bank linking isn't available yet, add balances by hand or import a CSV export from your bank.
Who can see my data?
You, the people you invite into your household, and any advisor you invite, until you disconnect them. Sensitive fields are protected with bank-grade encryption before they are stored, but Helm's servers hold the key so the app can show them to you. That protects against a leaked database; it does not hide your data from Helm.
Does Helm use AI on my data?
Guided answers on Ask Helm are built inside Helm from your records. The AI conversation and tax-return reading use Anthropic, and each asks for your consent first. Transaction descriptions Helm's rules can't categorize may be sent to Anthropic with personal identifiers removed. We never sell your data or use it to train AI models.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. Export in Settings downloads your household as one file, in a format other software can read: accounts and balance history, transactions, holdings, goals, plans, and more. Document files download from the Vault. You can delete your account at any time.
Is Helm a financial advisor?
No. Helm is a planning tool, not a registered investment adviser, and nothing in it is investment, tax, or legal advice. Check the numbers before you act on them.
